We at GLUON are pioneering a number of important technologies that will free up the design process from bloated desktop applications to modular, specialized web applications. While other "web developers" offer PDF editing tools based on Adobe Flex technology, GLUON are serious application developers with deep publishing experience so our technology can't be touched by others. Of course others will try to follow us, but that is the norm for GLUON—to be the leader. Imagine never having to worry about which version of this or that software you had or when to buy the next upgrade. Because in the world of web applications, it's always the latest version and it's always available from anywhere you can access the web. We're not saying this will make desktop design applications obsolete any time soon but let's just say the writing is on the wall. It's only a matter of time before you won't be able to tell whether something was designed from scratch in a browser or in the old-fashioned "20th Century" way using expensive desktop applications. Characteristics of HyperDesign:

• Whatever you can design on the desktop can be done online too, even kerning letters
• Full control over drop shadows, transparency, type on a path, any picture shapes, blends, color themes and much more design control than other systems
• Fully configurable from simple to sophisticated via simple XML format. Change what users can or can't do, add image library integration, dran 'n drop catalog building and much more.
• No limitation on size or number of pages, even can update multiple designs with a single edit
• Add pages from master page list or delete pages
• Create pop-up menu options for content where user simply clicks on object and selects option
• Toggle on or off form mode or direct click method or both
• Because you are using a more powerful "central server" even more automation is available
• Connections are more easily made into social and group workflows
• Designs can be turned into eCommerce templates online
• Designs can be easily shared or used to generate a multitude of output types
• Designs can be stored and revisited without the need to search through backups
• Designs can be output in most any format

HyperDesign leverages all the advantages of the HyperPublishing System but adds specialized Flash-based interfaces for all sorts of design purposes.

The HyperDesign includes the following features:

• Design from Scratch or from Template — Create finished layouts with unlimited picture and text boxes.
• Asset Management Built-in — Populate picture boxes from web or database sources. You can even use our GoogleTool to get a map of almost any location on Earth to snap into picture boxes. Even allows you to add multiple addresses to map as markers.
• Full Control Over Box Attributes — You can set the size and shape of your boxes and then get into every aspect from the opacity and color, the frame, the text-wrap and the shadows and more.
• Full Control Over Text Attributes — Using our HyperStyle Module, you'll be able to kern letters, set baseline shifts and more for unsurpassed textual controls in both short runs and long runs of text.
• Tag Boxes Right Online — Designs can be turned into templates with our patent-pending HyperTemplate online which allows you to set all sorts of things such as text and picture fitting.
• Font embedding — Users can edit in fonts they don't even have since our applications can be configured to download the font automatically when needed
• FlexiFlow™ Modularity — Do what you want with your designs afterwords with easy integration into any workflow.
• Output to Order — Whether you want users to get full-blown, press-ready PDFs or watermarked JPEGs or even Flash out of the design it's a matter of ask and ye shall receive.
• Integrates with HyperCommerce — Make designs immediately available for use in a Web2Print shop or as a.
• Customize Look and Feel — Uses XML configuration files for all design elements so colors, background graphics, logos, fonts, etc. can be customized to your needs.
• HyperImage* — An online tool for non-destructively editing an image's metadata that travels with the image including Area of Interest, flipping, rotation and more.
• HyperStyle* — This module enables the fine control of text on a character level. Fully control the font, size, kerning, scaling, color and position of individual letters.
