The GLUON HyperMatrix module for HyperPublishing takes the concept of variable data publishing (VDP) to the next level by leveraging many GLUON technologies. Whether mapping your data into a single template or into a series of related templates, the flexibility of HyperMatrix is unmatched even allowing you to resize output documents non-proportionally without distorting text or graphics. The flexibility doesn't stop there. We allow you to have all sorts of conditional content and conditional styling too which allows, for example, on "this" version to change "this" box to "this" color and much more! Combine this with the fact that making templates is as simple as humanly possible using QuarkXPress and our included HyperTemplate XTension. This is simply the state-of-the-art.

HyperMatrix leverages all the advantages of the HyperPublishing System but adds a user-friendly interface for creating unlimited multiple documents from a simple delimited text file or pasted right from Excel.

HyperMatrix includes the following features:

• Super Easy Template Creation — Create and upload templates straight out of QuarkXPress. HyperTemplate goes far beyond the mere naming of boxes and variable elements, you actually give them intelligence!
• Automated Spreadsheet Templates — Don't know how to format your data? No problem. For any given template, we show you a sample spreadsheet that you can copy and paste right into Excel or other program.
• Unlimited Variables — Limitations dictated by template needs only, not HyperMatrix. If you need hundreds of variables per page or just one, we've got you covered.
• Easy Data Upload — Once you have your data entered into Excel or your database, save it as a delimited text file and browse for it or paste it straight into HyperMatrix.
• Conditional Data Mapping (Coming Soon) — Even though we give you the exact format to use, we know that you may want to simply "map" your current data output to our inputs. We're working on a conditional mapper that will allow you not only to directly map to the template's fields but also add conditions such as "if this equals that, then use this data, otherwise use that data."
• HyperScale — On-the-fly resizing of individual versions proportionally or non-proportionally without distorting text or graphics. The same technology is used internally for groups of boxes that can intelligently resize to make room for variable data.
• Easily integrates with external asset management systems — Simply specify the full path to variable graphics and we'll find it, fill it in and fit it accordingly.
• Selective Editing — At any point it's easy to edit a given data item for a single version or any number of previous or subsequent versions. You can also upload data for any number of versions to replace anywhere in the sequence.
• On-the-fly Template Swapping — HyperMatrix allows you to essentially pick and choose which template file you will use on a given version. For instance if you want to have a left hand or right hand page or if you wanted the "car" design or the "boat" design for a given page...it's super easy to do.
• On-the-fly Design — HyperMatrix allows you to easily vary not just content, but also every aspect of boxes and text including colors, fonts, drop shadows and much more...all from your data file.
• On-the-fly Text Formatting — GLUON's gTags allow you to format every detail of text from alignment to font to color to kerning and more.
• Press-ready PDF, PPML or Quark Output — At the end of the process, designated file servers can receive PDF's at any standard required for printing including: X-1a, X-3 or custom. Or if preferred, a collected Quark file with graphics and fonts, EPS, or Postscript file can be provided.
• Full Color Management — ICC profiles and all color management as provided by Quark
• Selective Batch Production — Easily create large batches or select any range to produce.
• Configurable Ouput Styles — Add any number of PDF or other types of output style with the exact settings you want and then produce batches by selecting output style or set individually.
• Output Stitching — At the end of the process we can gather all the individual outputs into a single file, as either a QuarkXPress or a PDF.
• HyperImage* — An online tool for non-destructively editing an image's metadata that travels with the image including Area of Interest, flipping, rotation and more. This allows you to tweak individual images in individual versions created by HyperMatrix.
• HyperStyle* — This module enables the fine control of text on a character level. Fully control the font, size, scaling, color and position of individual letters. This allows you to tweak individual text instances in individual versions created by HyperMatrix.
